Mini-Vacation

Since Ron is between jobs we took the opportunity to get out of town for a few days. We had a wonderful time at the lake, taking a side trip to Fredericksburg and Luckenboch. We drove the beautiful Texas Hill Country and enjoyed the wildflower. Kyle was really good. Slept in a big boy crib for the first time (and almost made it through the night!) He is really turning into a "go with the flow" baby- we are very lucky!

First Astros Game- 4/9/06

We took Kyle to his first Astros game on Sunday. It was a blast! He was so good- the crowd didn't bother him at all! He was adorable in his little Astros outfit!

He's Getting SOOO Big!

Texas Bluebonnets

In late March we took Kyle to get his first pictures taken in the Texas Bluebonnets. For those of you in Texas you know this is a "must do" with kids. For everyone else, I'll explain! The Texas Bluebonnet is the state flower. In late March/early-mid April these beautiful wild flowers pop up along the road. You find tons of people (especially Sunday afternoons after Church) taking photos of their kids sitting in the flowers. Our parents took our pictures year after year, and we'll do the same! Kyle is perhaps a little young, but we couldn't let the season go by! He is right at 8 weeks in these pictures.
