Kyle is getting small tastes of new foods. He LOOOOVEES popsicles (feels good on his tooth I'm sure). Also, he loves to grab stuff off the table- like the bbq sauce! He is a Texan- already loving his BBQ!

My Favorite Toy

Grammy bought him this toy a couple months ago and we always propped him up with blankets and he wasn't all that interested. THEN, overnight it seemed- he can't get enough.

Grandma Mary Lu

We took Kyle back to the doctor last week because his reflux is not getting any better. They changed his meds but instead of a liquid it is a solid capsule that we break and mix with rice cereal. So, he had to learn to eat solids over night! He takes it in his mouth and doesn't spit it out, but can't figure out how to swallow quite yet. Today was better (day three) and he actually swallowed it all without having to wash down each bite with the bottle. He weighs 16lbs 11 oz, which is right where he should be (babies should double their birth weight (which would be 17lbs) by 4 months and he will probably be right on when we go in for the 4 month check up on the 26th). That makes him in the 95 percentile for his weight- he is a big, fluffy boy! He is rolling over on occasion, from his tummy to back, and getting very close to rolling the other way. Never sits still, can scoot all over the place quickly! When he sleeps he moves a ton- in his crib he is on the total opposite end than where he started (he slept in his crib for the first time last night- it wasn't such a great night though.......3am feeding again! We hope he gets use to it fast!

Happy Family

We celebrated a lot this month! Tarrah's first mother's day (Kyle got her a lovely pair of Garnet earrings- both her and Kyle's birthstone!) and our 7 year wedding anniversary! We just love that our family is growing!

Kyle has a little buddy named Drew. They are so cute playing together! Drew is 2 1/2 and just loves his "baby". And Kyle just loves anyone's attention!

Baby Faces

Kyle is now 3 1/2 months old and getting huge! He is cutting his first tooth so he is a little less happy than usual, but still overall a very good little boy. He spends a lot of time with his finger on his tooth and his bottom lip stuck out, very cute! He is holding his head up very well and ALMOST can turn from his back to his stomach, can make it half way and gets stuck- but it won't be long. He has the cutest little belly laugh and still smiles at just about anything.
