Kyle Turns ONE!!!!!!!!!!

Well we all survived the first year. Kyle is growing fast and learning something new everyday. He can wave, clap, make funny sounds with his mouth, throw his hands up when you say YEAH!, say o-oh, find his tummy, honk your nose, take his own pants, shoes and socks off, open doors, turn off lights......all in a matter of minutes it seems!!! He's quick for sure! Keeping us on our toes. He started walking about a week before his birthday and since then he is on the go pretty much all day. He is still a blissfully happy baby most days. He loves to eat (as evidenced by his 30.5 lbs!). He just eats what we eat now, loves chicken and fish and veggies and....well pretty much everything except ranch dressing and bbq sauce (which makes us wonder if he is really our child- after all what is the world without ranch and bbq?)

We are still searching for answers to his breathing issues that continue to worsen as he gets more active. On 2/22 he will have exploratory surgery at Texas Children's. He will be cared for by the best around so we are feeling good about the outcome. Please pray for him this month as it will be difficult on him- and us.
