The Beach

We took Kyle to Stewart Beach on Galvestion Island on Sunday. It is only about 1.5 hours from us, a nice day trip. It was a beautiful day for a trip! He LOOVED the water....could care less about the sand (no matter HOW exceited daddy got about building a sand castle with their new toys). We didn't get a picture of it, but Kyle was OBSESSED about the big yellow snow cone cart. He would cry and chase it down the beach. The young man working it would let Kyle "push" it for him a bit. It was so funny. Like most everything else, Kyle had no fear when it came to the water. He played hard, and was asleep before we even got out of the parking lot! We went to the Strand for lunch and he slept through it all.

We spent a lot of time holding him back saying WAIT and STOP!

When we got home he was SOOOO tired. Still wanted to be outside so we grilled and played in the backyard, and he just laid on the patio and played with his car.....

First Bad BooBoo

Ky fell HARD and his front teeth went through his bottom lip. Lots of blood and panic. It looks SOOOO painful, but he isn't bothered at all. Actually, leaving the doc office he fell and hit his head on the cement wall, still no tears. He amazes us, he is SO tough and 10000000000000000000000% all BOY. We are afraid this is just the beginning of the emergancy trips to the clinic!

The next morning

Kyle the Climber

He is CLIMBING on everything. Loves to sit and stand on stuff. This video is him sitting in his fav chair (it is a chair that Tarrah's gradfather gave her when she was a baby). He has a limited vocabulary.....his first word was "outside", now he says "puddy" (aka puppy), "dead" (aka red), "what" and "why", and "eiei-o".

Family Getaway

Ron had some vacation he needed to use so we packed up and went to San Antonio the week after Easter. We had not been there before, had a great time! The riverwalk was a challenge with a stroller, but other than that, it was a nice family getaway! We visited the zoo, the wax museum, the alamo and other historic misisons, and drove through Kerrville/Bandera area.
