Fun in Winter Park

We are trying to entertain the kids as much as we can before we start moving into the house and get busy. On Saturday we went to a Lumberjack show and the local rodeo. It was Ky's first rodeo.....he ran and ran and ran.....played hard. Sat for about 30 seconds to look at the show. The rodeo wasn't all that great (all you had to do was catch something or stay on for 8 seconds and you won...talent not so good...even WE could be rodeo stars here!) But the views were off a movie set as the sun set over the rockies. They had a lot of events for kids, so maybe when Ky is a little older he can be a muttun rider. Today we plan on renting bikes and taking a ride. Weather has been good, sunny and warm, cool at night. Afternoon showers. We'll keep the blog updated as best we can!

THE BIG MOVE!

We made it to Winter Park, Colorado on Friday, July 27, 2007. This is where we will call home for a while. We hope we will begin moving into our new house on Monday and Ron will start his new job on the 1st. We made the drive from Texas to Colorado with Kyle and our two nieces, Toni and Chy (the much needed helping hands!). Ron drove the VERY loaded down 26 foot Uhaul and I drove with Ky in my truck. We made it in 3 days.....3 long days! We are super happy to be here!
